(collaborative) read write prompt #59: title collage

Create a poem collage by using poem titles from other Read Write Poem poets. This was really fun to do!

--> PICTOGRAPH
Next door to Dorothy
in the hot, blueberry afternoon,
how readily the biscuits break; as easily
as dinosaur bones.
I eat them on my terrace, one by one,
suspended in the Minneapolis skyline.
There have been between us
decrees of separation.
Crows keep guard on the damp wrought iron.

She moves softly, like a dream of Miss America,
in the double-bass, silver flute song of spring.
Through the bleary window, she's a watercolor;
splashes of paint on dirty scraps of paper.

Dear Dorothy,
This isn't a poem.
This is my map of you, (loving, warm and gentle).
This is a pictograph
that leans into me like bones against clay
in this hot, blueberry afternoon.

Yeah, I think you've got this right. I like the way you slotted all the pieces together!

Wow, that's really neat!! Everything really flowed nicely!! I had to add extra lines to my poem.

I would never have guessed this was comprised of poem titles.
