My dear husband is pouting on the couch because I compared him to a house cat in my last blog post. Just to clear things up--that was an unfortunate metaphor. My husband is nothing like a house cat. He's far more studly, for one thing. And way less hairy. He's really more like...a low maintenance, emotionally available James Bond. And he can do math is his head!
In other news, Diversion Press now officially has "Meanderings: A Collection of Poetic Verse" up on their site for sale! They also started a great blog, where they interviewed some of the poets selected for the book. I had a great time reading through the responses and getting to know the other contributors. You'll find the blog at: http://www.diversionpress.blogspot.com/
And, eep! I'm so excited! Dana Guthrie-Martin and the awesome admin team at Read Write Poem are launching the new site in less than 24 hours! You can get a sneak preview of all the changes and goodies in store here: http://readwritepoem.org/ It will truly be one-stop shopping for poets! I have high hopes for this site helping to create a thriving community for poets and writers. I strongly encourage you to take the plunge and sign up to be a part of it! Yours truly will be writing an Obscure Poets column once a month, as well as a few other tidbits here and there.
And, watch this spot for some happy news on Saturday! It's all hush-hush for now, but I have big grin on my face about it. Nope, I can't tell you until Saturday. You'll just have to wait until then...
